We spent several late nights animating the icons for our blinds menu. So as we put quite a lot of effort in, here they are with the links removed so you can see them working without the pages changing.

They were built with something called Lottie. Lottie was developed by Airbnb and it’s a clever way of animating vector files which means they retain their quality regardless of how large they are displayed.

Most animations rely on a series of multiple changing images. Lottie is coded and the resulting .json files are essentially animated using a series of co-ordinates… which makes the files very small in comparison.
